We had an army of helpers and a variety of tasks……………………

enjoying the preparations

and we all had such great fun!

Today’s the day………….just one changeover and I’m off out to the hairdresser this morning and have delegated responsibility – unheard of…………… but it will be a team of  wedding guests on the hoover and dusters – I’ll just inspect later!!!!!!

We’re looking forward to a wonderful celebration………………………………….

The day before, the day before!

Church decorations today – First task was to be raised in the tractor bucket to pick Old Man’s Beard (wild clematis) from one of the high hedges in our fields, much to the surprise of Huckleberry and Gem who had just settled down for a nice quiet graze in that field!

collecting foliage

The girls went off and picked vast amounts of greenery and then it was load up and off to the Church – we were a busy team of five!

decorating windowsills

The day after the wedding is the Trafalgar Day service in Madron Church so we have the unexpected extra decoration in the form of large naval flags – what a bonus!

Tomorrow it’s the marquee………………………

The leaves are falling and the lane is looking autumnal

Knocked up in a jiffy and suitably inspired we might just make some more to hang across from Ring and Thimble bedroom to our house.
