Carn Galver Mine
Sennen Harbour
Some of our visitors arrive by train and have a wonderful car free holiday in West Cornwall.
Visits by Bus
Many local sights are either on bus routes or catch the bus to the nearest stop and walk to the site. In summer, there is an open−top bus trip round West Cornwall.
Local buses stop outside the Sportsman Arms in Heamoor or outside Trengwainton Garden. There is information on bus routes and timetables in each cottage.
Visits by Train
The train ride to St Ives is just wonderful, passing along the coastline with superb views of the sea. Catch the train at Penzance or there is a more frequent service from St Erth (approximately every 30 mintues).
Ride the train to Truro or further up the county from Penzance − the train is always pretty empty when it leaves Penzance.
Walking Visits
Walk into Penzance, then along the promenade into Newlyn and onto Mousehole − it’s a fabulous walk along by the sea.
Trengwainton Gardens is situated approximately one mile from Boscrowan, easily within walking distance. Visit the gardens then take a leisurely stroll back your cottage.
Each cottage has plenty of maps and books of walks available in the area. Perhaps choose a combination of bus and walking along the coastal footpath.
Cycling
Bring your own or use the two Boscrowan bikes to visit the local attractions and countryside.
