2023 Visit England 5 star Gold Award – highest level.
We are very proud to have been judged as 5 star Gold since we were first inspected for these awards, 17 years ago. To maintain and hold this high level of award year after year is a tribute to our hard work and dedication to quality.
For this both cottages and the surrounding grounds are inspected annually by a quality assessor connected to Visit England. The gradings are 1 – 5 star with an additional Gold award for properties showing an exceptional level of quality, comfort and cleanliness and outstanding customer service.

Since first applying for this award we have met the rigorous standards required in all aspects of sustainability and held the Gold award for the last 16 years. With only 1 in 20 self-catering businesses achieving Gold, this is an award we are exceptionally proud of.
