As soon as you step inside Peace and Plenty you will feel at home in this lovingly converted barn for four or a wonderfully spacious home for just two (and you can enjoy a bathroom each and a dressing room!) There is so much to please the eye and soothe the mind from the delightful views across the gardens and orchard to the beautiful fittings, original features and finishing touches inside the barn. A home from home, a place to linger and just be, or a restful place to come back to and kick-back after a day’s adventuring in the local area.
Peace and Plenty provides the perfect family holiday accommodation. Enjoy cooking, dining and relaxing in the light and airy first floor open-plan living area. Downstairs on the lower floor there is a generous en-suite master bedroom as well as a twin bedroom with a separate bathroom. Luxurious cotton bedlinen, soft bathrobes and hand picked floral arrangements make our bedrooms extra special. Outside, enjoy Cornwall’s temperate climate in the private garden and patio area ideal for al fresco dining. You can enjoy exploring Boscrowan’s peaceful grounds and young children are welcome to meet and feed the farm animals.
Accommodation
First Floor:
The open plan living area has a wood burning stove, 37” flat panel LCD television, DVD player, video, CD/tape player and iPod docking station. The large bespoke wooden kitchen is equipped with an electric oven and hob, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine and large fridge/freezer. In the dining area there is an oval dining table with four Lloyd loom chairs.
Ground Floor
Master bedroom: King-size half-tester bed with silk drapes and en-suite shower room with travertine floor, power shower, wash hand basin and WC.
Bedroom 2: Twin beds, built in wardrobe and plenty of clothes storage space.
Main bathroom (next door to twin bedroom): Bath, shower attachment, wash-basin and WC.
Outside
Peace and Plenty has an enclosed garden, patio area, clothes dryer, table and chairs for four and a small portable barbecue.
There is ample parking for two cars.
Facilities and Services
Inclusive: electricity, oil-fired central heating, hot water, fuel for multi burner, bedlinen, towels, and tea towels. Please note beach towels are not provided.
Environmentally friendly cleaning products are provided (washing-up liquid, laundry liquid, dishwasher tablets and other cleaning products).
Additional information
Arrival/departure day is Saturday. Arrival time is after 3pm and departure time is before 10am. The cottage is available to non-smokers only. We regret no pets or children under two years of age.
