Open the door to Ring and Thimble, drop your luggage down and take in this deceptively spacious but very romantic bolt-hole for two. As stunning inside as its charming exterior suggests this gorgeously pretty thatched granite cottage will enchant you and entice you to relax.
Wow features are plentiful from the solid oak floors downstairs to the shimmering glass chandelier on the first floor. Warmth radiates from the splendid aga at the heart of the bespoke kitchen and luxurious finishing touches such as the Villeroy and Boch china and the stunning seasonal flower arrangements make staying here so memorable. The living room, kitchen and bedroom are all generously sized and practical needs are well taken care of with an impressively well-equipped kitchen and even a separate utility room. With a restful living space complete with a multi burner stove and patio doors to a secluded patio area, you may it difficult to decide which is your favourite spot to relax. Nestled in its own tranquil garden with a private driveway, Ring and Thimble has delightful open views of the gardens, orchard and fields which you are very welcome to explore if you wish.
Accommodation
Ground Floor:
The living/dining area has a large 2 seater sofa, two comfy armchairs and a multi burner stove set in a magnificent inglenook fireplace. In addition there is a flat screen TV, DVD player, video player, iPod decking station and a CD/tape player. In the dining area there is a dining table for two and French doors leading to a patio area. From the living space an ash staircase leads off to the the first floor. The bespoke painted wooden kitchen leads off the living space and can also be approached from a door from the front of the cottage. As well as having an oil fired aga, granite worktops and double Belfast sink it also includes a dishwasher, fridge, electric hob and oven. The separate utility room has its own useful entrance and contains a freezer, washing machine, tumble drier and microwave.
First Floor
A glass chandelier hangs above the 6ft super king half tester bed dressed with embroidered silk drapes. There is built in wardrobe space and at one end of the room there is a sitting area complete with a reading nook and dressing table. A small landing takes you across to the separate bathroom with travertine floor, roll top bath, large separate shower cubicle, wash hand basin and WC.
Outside
Ring and Thimble has its own secluded lower level brick-paved patio area with a granite table and 2 chairs. Its terraced landscaped garden leads to a further higher gravelled area where there is also a wooden picnic table. To the front of the cottage, just outside the kitchen is a Lutyens bench and small table. A small portable barbecue is available for use either here or to transport to a nearby beach. A private driveway provides ample parking for two cars.

Inclusive: electricity, oil fired central heating, hot water, fuel for multi burner, bedlinen, towels, and tea towels. Please note beach towels are not provided.
Environmentally friendly cleaning products are provided (washing-up liquid, laundry liquid, dishwasher tablets and other cleaning products).
Additional information
Arrival/departure day is Saturday. Arrival time is after 4pm and departure time is before 11am. The cottage is available to non-smokers only. We regret that no pets or children under sixteen years of age are permitted.
