Meet the family

david and elizabeth, the owners of Boscrowan

Both originally from Cornwall, David and Elizabeth have been living at Boscrowan since 1999. As well as working tirelessly on the renovation and running of Boscrowan, David also works as an agronomist for a farmer’s co-operative and Elizabeth runs a successful soft furnishings company, finecurtains.co.uk, from a workroom on the farm.

Boscrowan has been a wonderful home to two daughters Jenny and Morwenna who, although now grown up, regularly return and help with duties such as preparing the cottages on changeover day.

The Boscrowan animals are very much part of the Harris family too and bring great company and pleasure to many of the visitors, especially the youngest ones.

In the fields and stables you will see Elizabeth and David’s two horses, Jasper and Dotty. There is one cat – Tiny Tim, who can often be seen basking in the sun in the cottage gardens. Maisie the chocolate Labrador springer cross will be ready to greet you and hoping for attention.
