What a wonderful, much needed weekend away. Ring and Thimble was so much more than we had imagined. It has everything we need and felt so homely. It’s been a wonderful place to relax. Elizabeth and David – you have a hidden gem here. Thank you for being so welcoming.
We had a lovely and relaxing lockdown Christmas at Peace and Plenty. It’s such a home from home experience and so cosy especially with the warmth and glow of the woodturner.
Our ‘nth stay at Boscrowan. Fantastic as ever. We will be returning to Boscrowan again in a few months for more of the same. We are very grateful.
Peace and Plenty is aptly named. We enjoy the peace at Boscrowan and we find ‘plenty’ of everything – apples, blackberries, sloes, cream tea….. First class accommodation and beautiful surroundings.
We have had another amazing week in Peace and Plenty, celebrating a 50th birthday. We first visited Peace and Plenty on our honeymoon in 2005 and have now lost count of how many times we have returned.
Ticked all the boxes and more. Tried the bread maker – made two loaves and very impressed with it too. Thank you for leaving all the ingredients to try it.
We love it here…nothing else to say. It’s simply perfect in every way.
Wow, wow, wow what a special cottage. Just perfection!
Fantastic week in Cornwall and fantastic place to stay.
Our 15th year! We love that moment when we turn left and see those lovely gates at the entrance to Boscrowan. Liz and David never fail to deliver. We always sleep well in the huge comfy bed and we love the Aga.
Now I understand why there are so many repeat bookings! Had a wonderful time, felt really looked after right from the beginning. Best scones ever!
Thank you for a really special 2 weeks holiday. I don’t know where to start – we’ve loved it all – beautiful fresh flowers and delicious scones, gorgeous cottage, picking endless tomatoes and the girls loved Tim the cat.
We have had a wonderful week staying in Ring and Thimble. The cottage is so comfortable and beautifully furnished. It really was a superb base for exploring this lovely part of Cornwall.
Our first visit to Boscrowan. I can totally understand why guests return year after year. Amongst our highlights were walking from Lands End to Sennen Cove in gale force wind, cooking in the Aga and most of all staying here in the cottage, just perfect (even in the rain!).
Ring and Thimble is all we hoped for and more! We ate in the cottage 4 out of 5 nights as it was the most beautiful setting and we were exhausted from our daily excursions.
15 years of visiting Boscrowan and we never tire of it. This is not just down to the luxury of the cottages but also in large due to the warm hospitality of Liz and David
What can be said that we and others have not said already? As for food we can recommend the fish and chip shop in Heamoor, The Old Coastguard Inn at Mousehole (booking essential), The Heron Inn at Malpas, Truro and The Kings head at Ruan Lanihorne
Thank you for a wonderful week here in Peace and Plenty. We have visited St Michaels Mount, been on a 3 hr wildlife cruise (saw seals and dolphins) and had a great walk from Lands End to Sennen and open top bus to St Ives, a dip in the Jubilee Pool and more but there are still plenty of things left to see and do so we hope to return one day.
Our 18th visit to Boscrowan has been as wonderful as ever! We never tire of being here.Thank you for generously sharing the veg garden – we have loved the beans, courgettes, tomatoes and potatoes as well as the eggs. Some wonderful walks. Visit to the National Dahlia Collection – thank you for the recommendation. A much needed and valued recuperative and restorative 2 weeks. See you next year.
We’ve lost count of the number of visits to Boscrowan. Coming here is always about re-visiting favourite places, but finding new things to do too. Eating out has the same rules too – new and old!
We have loved being back at Boscrowan after a few years absence. All those lovely touches which make this place so special are really appreciated
Peaceful it is, plentifully is it equipped.
A huge thank you for providing us with such a super, comfortable, elegant, well appointed home for the week. So many thoughtful touches from fresh flowers to home produce. We spent our week without a car and enjoyed an amazing bus service virtually from our doorstep that has taken us to so many parts of this wonderful area. We would love to return.
Our first stay has been absolutely magical. Peace and Plenty is a warm hug of a cottage, beautifully decorated, the most sumptuous beds and the wonderful garden greeting you form every window. The children have had an absolute ball and had learned so much from you both. Every morning they have been raring to go to feed the chickens, let Dotty and Jasper out and give Maisie and Tim their breakfasts.
